Within the department, the Estate Management team manage all title, L&T and valuation aspects of the portfolio, which comprises some 300 buildings and 200 off-site ATM’s held under mixed freehold and leasehold title. The team also provide a professional property consultancy service within and external to the department.

We are currently recruiting 2 qualified general practitioners with min 2 years experience to enable the team to effectively manage a significant increase in the current workload, and specific high input/short term projects currently scheduled. A high level of interaction with external professionals is involved, in particular, solicitors.

Candidates should ideally have the following;

? Primary Degree in a Property related discipline with min 2 years experience in the industry.
? Good working knowledge of Landlord/Tenant and VAT Legislation, and commercial leases.
? Good working knowledge of commercial Property Valuations and current market trends.
? Strong negotiation skills and experience in lease/rent negotiation.
? PC literacy, Word, Excel etc.
? Basic knowledge of building practices.
? Ability to work on own initiative within a small team.

The contract will be for a period of 12 months initially, with possibility of short term renewal. Salary negotiable.
