I am a  Chartered Quantity  Surveyor with over 21 years experience working for an  international contractor on multi-million euro projects in Ireland. I have experience of all elements of surveying practise from project inception to completion. I am a self starter with the ability to work either alone  or in a large team as the situation  demands . I am qualified  in project management and have sound analythical and numberacy and technical skills. I have experience using Billsoft and Coins  financial management systems together with spreadsheet and data base  usage. I have managed  the finances of projects   from one million to seventy million euros  where I had to manage  staff and complete tasks including remeasurement, negotiation ,  interim and final cost reporting,  subcontact financial management and final account agreement.. I have also experience of dispute resolution having worked  on an arbitration  for some considerable  time.

My goal  is  to achieve employment of either a  temporary or permanent  nature in  Ireland or the UK in a QS or Project Management capacity. I am also open to parttime or agency work. I am also currently engaged  in studying part-time for
an M.Sc. In  Sustainable Engergy Engineering which I feel will give me  marketable and substantial skills  in Building  surveying  and Facilities Management.
