We provide introductory materials for second-level students who can then go on to take one of highly regarded third-level courses. Post-graduation, our APC provides a route to becoming chartered. The SCSI accredits courses in Ireland for the purpose of enrolling on to the APC. Currently there are 16 courses accredited by the SCSI — find out more about them here.
The APC is comprised of a list of competencies set out by each of the SCSI’s Professional Groups. In order to become Chartered, a candidate must attain these competencies to the required level.

The SCSI, in association with the Dublin Institute of Technology, is developing a range of third-level programmes designed to provide an entry point to the various surveying professions.
Candidates undertaking the APC can transfer membership between RICS and the SCSI while continuing to record APC experience, uninterrupted.
