Transport Infrastructure Ireland wishes to make the following appointment:
Senior Valuation Surveyor – Grade I
Post Reference: TIIR317_SVS
The principal duty of the appointed person will be to assist the Head of Land and Property Services in managing the acquisition of land and property being acquired by TII directly and by local authorities on behalf of TII, with particular emphasis on achieving value for money and consistency of approach in schemes throughout the country. An understanding of the requirement that public sector organisations must have in regard to fairness and the Constitutional context in which compulsory acquisition of private land and property takes place is essential.
The successful candidate will have:
- Degree or 3rd level professional qualification (HETAC Level 8 or equivalent) in a relevant area such as Property Valuation or Agri-business. Applicants must be a member of the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland (MSCSI) and / or the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).
- 7 years’ post graduate experience of valuation of property and land.
The scale of pay for Grade 1 as at 1st April 2017 is as follows:
Salary Scale: €66,777 - €82,538p.a. (Class A PRSI)
