Surveyor, Agency Department, Letting & Sales Business Line

We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic Surveyor.  The ideal candidate for this position will join a very busy commercial real estate consultancy and will deliver profitable fee income to the business. 


 


Main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:



  • Achieving fee earning targets, commensurate with role;

  • Adhering and contributing to pre due diligence activities, in line with the Group Policies and Procedures;

  • Understanding the team targets, and what generates revenue and makes profits;

  • Working alongside Directors with the valuation, appraisal and preparation of property details;

  • Developing own client base and developing business with existing client contacts, including actively managing client base with a view of continuously improve relationships and leverage from them;

  • Keeping up to date with market movements, trends, analysis and pricing in the market;

  • Actively promoting and developing the profile of the Letting & Sales team externally and internally, within the wider BNP Paribas business;

  • Provide accurate information to the Letting and Sales Business Line Directors, to the Managing Director, and Senior Director(s) as required;

  


Qualifications and experience:


  • Educated to degree level. Please note that applications from candidates who achieved a 2.1 grade would be preferred;

  • Studying towards achieving RICS qualification;

  • Clean Driving licence;

  • A minimum of 2 years proven experience working in a similar role;

  • Proven ability of being able to work independently and to show initiative and drive, as well as work effectively as part of a team;

  • Excellent use of Microsoft Office package, including Word, Excel, Powerpoint;

 


Soft skills



  • Excellent communications skills.  It is an essential requirement of the role that the successful candidate is fluent in English, both spoken and  written;

  • Ability to communicate and integrate effectively at all levels of the organisation;

  • Proven ability to effectively prioritise work;

  • Excellent customer focus is a must to excel in this role;

  • Excellent attention to detail;
