Building Control Amendment Regulations

The SCSI recognises the need for reform of the building control system given the failures demonstrated in the system as it currently stands. However, it seems extraordinary that the proposed Code of Practice to accompany the legislation and which will assist interpretation is not available as this is seen as a critical element in relation to the workability of the proposed system.
