While sentiment remains modestly positive overall, a slowdown is becoming increasingly evident in the retail sector. Investment enquiries are now falling and occupier demand has stagnated. This is reflected in negative medium term capital value and rental expectations for secondary retail properties, although projections remain positive for the industrial and office markets.
